KAWS (Kansas Alliance of Spinners and Weavers) still needs vendors and workshop instructors.

KAWS is calling for both more vendors and more class proposals.  They still have a few vendor spaces remaining and are extending the application deadline to Wednesday, October 21, 2015.  Likewise, they still have class session slots available so they are also extending the class proposal deadline to Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

KAWS 2016 is being held April 15-17, 2016 at the Ramada Inn Downtown in Topeka, Kansas. The conference begins with an opening reception on Friday evening, classes and vendors on Saturday and Sunday, a keynote address by Anita Luvera Mayer at lunch on Saturday, and a sheep to shawl competition Saturday evening.  Classes, the keynote and the participation in the Sheep to Shawl are limited to registered participants. The vendor area and opening reception are open to the public. Continuing in the KAWS tradition, vendors and classes are not limited to weaving and spinning. They will include all things fiber related.
